behAI AI Vision Systems
behAI has developed an intelligent camera system called AVSOne. The edge system processes and analyzes the recordings using artificial intelligence directly on the camera. The necessary hardware, software and algorithms are integrated in one system. This enables GDPR-compliant use. In addition, the systems are preconfigured so that direct use is possible: „Plug & Play“.
Design Principles
behAI pursues an integrative development approach. The AVSOne has all the hardware and software modules to be used in a variety of applications. In addition, the system is always kept up-to-date with live updates, which guarantees the highest level of security and the use of the latest AI algorithms. In addition, the system can be made ready for use in new applications in a matter of seconds.
This approach combines several advantages in the AVSOne:
- Modular AI modules: The camera system possesses a large library of AI modules. Therefore, the system can be used in a variety of applications.
- Plug & Play: The system as well as the AI modules are preconfigured and can be used directly.
- Data security: The complete processing of the data takes place directly on the camera system. The closed system enables maximum data security.
- GDPR conformity: Direct processing enables GDPR-compliant use.
- Low network utilization: The data processing on the camera system reduces the necessary transmission volumes. This leads to a reduced network load.
- Serverless Infrastructure: The camera systems include all the necessary components. An additional IT infrastructure is not required.

The “AVSOne” demonstrator puts the vision into practice and can already be used in real-world applications. Since behAI is a young IT start-up, the demonstrator will be further developed and improved in short cycles.
