behAI is a start-up by employees of the Vienna University of Technology, research group mechanical engineering informatics. We combine cutting-edge research with the development of market-ready products in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision (CV). A special focus is on the creation of innovative solutions and the use of new technologies.

With the support of behAI, customers can concentrate on their core business and do not have to deal in detail with the interesting, promising and at the same time challenging topic of AI-based computer vision. Instead, they have a strong research and development partner at their side who covers these areas. This means that customers only have to integrate their tailor-made solutions into their existing products or processes.

behAI focuses on the development of tailor-made AI-Vision Solutions and covers the entire development process from brainstorming to market readiness and maintenance.

• Consultation: behAI supports its customers with targeted, yet comprehensive consultation. The possibilities, opportunities, and risks of artificial intelligence in relation to the respective application(s) are discussed.
• Idea Generation: If the use case or its requirements have not yet been fully formulated, behAI supports its customers in generating and developing it. For this purpose, possible use cases are analyzed and the resulting added value for the customer is discussed.
• Concept Development: Based on the use case requirements, behAI develops possible solution designs that are tailored to the respective application.
• Prototype Development: The development of a prototype makes it possible to test the functionality and performance of the concept. In addition, the customer gains valuable knowledge about the future system and can thus proactively influence further development.
• System Development: Based on the prototype, a fully functional AI-Vision solution is developed. Thereby, behAI combines proven hardware and software components for maximum performance and functionality. In addition, behAI develops tailor-made AI algorithms that get the most out of the use case.
